Our client, a technology company, is looking to hire a
Systems Engineer IIIin
Spokane WA.
Pay Rate Range:$50/h - $65/h, depending on experience
Contract Duration:3-month (with possibility of
extension/conversion)The successful engineer in this role will:- Understand how complex robotics workcells operate, including an understanding of servo drives, industrial networks, safety systems, and integration with host systems.
- Have experience developing and deploying robotics workcells, including commissioning best practices, and troubleshooting methodologies for complex integrated systems.
- Own the development of systems and features to improve system throughput, availability, quality, and improve deployment speed and efficacy.
- Own documentation of system for immediate team as well as partner commissioning and support teams.
- Have experience developing and evaluating metrics to judge performance of machines and systems.
- Have experience with software development for controls systems.
Top 3 Must Have Hard Skills: 1. In depth knowledge of & experience developing controls systems including developing PLC and HMI applications and integrating components like drives, barcode readers, and remote sensors.
2. Proficiency in multiple IEC 61131-3 languages.
3. Understanding of basic network troubleshooting including industrial networks like Ethercat, Ethernet/IP, Profibus/Profinet, etc.
Nice to haves: 1. Knowledge of C, C++ or Java.
2. Experience deploying or managing machines in large-scale, geographically diverse environments.
