Material Handler/Shop Helper

We are seeking an Material Handler/Shop Helper to become an integral part of our growing team! You will perform material packing tasks, assist other production departments with tasks, as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency. This job is an entry-level to mid-level experience role.

Responsibilities:

• Work with a team to package and ship products or components
• Rotate through tasks for specific packing processes including palletizing, wrapping and box packing
• Load and unload shipments from delivery vehicles
• Prepare finished products for shipment
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Stock received material in warehouse
• Assist production departments with tasks

Qualifications:

• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to established standards.
• Ability to handle physical workload incl. lifting approx.50 lbs. and standing for long periods of time
• Ability to work well in teams and independently
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail
• Experience in packing or material handling in an industrial manufacturing environment is a plus
