About the Role: TBT GROUP INC is looking for a skilled Powder Press Operator to join our manufacturing team in Bellmawr, NJ. This is a hands-on opportunity to be a key part of our production process in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Shift Differential: $.50
Required PPE (Company Provided): Lab Coats, Boots, Boot Guards, Gloves, Safety Glasses, Hard Hats, and Respirator.
Responsibilities:- Operate powder press machinery to produce parts and components to exact specifications
- Monitor press settings, tooling, and die setups to ensure consistent product quality
- Perform routine inspections and quality checks on finished parts using measuring tools
- Adjust machine parameters such as pressure, speed, and feed rates as needed
- Conduct routine equipment maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with safety standards
- Accurately document production output, downtime, and quality control records
Requirements:- Prior experience operating powder press or similar industrial press machinery preferred but not required
- Familiarity with powder metallurgy or compaction processes is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical specifications
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
