Lab Technician

• Perform laboratory tests and routine lab work using conventional and computerized equipment.
• Accurately measure materials using scales and other laboratory instruments.
• Operate, set up, and adjust laboratory equipment while following safety procedures and work instructions.
• Test and evaluate the chemical and physical characteristics or composition of materials.
• Follow prescribed laboratory standards and procedures to ensure accurate results.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory workspace.
• Demonstrate strong reading, testing, observation, and attention-to-detail skills.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree accepted.
• Two years of post-secondary education in a relevant field is preferred; equivalent education and experience may also be considered.
• Ability to operate laboratory equipment and follow safety guidelines.
• Strong measurement, observation, and attention-to-detail skills.
