Sheet Metal Machine Operator

Smart Trades is hiring an experienced Sheet Metal Machine Operator to join a well-established manufacturing team in North Salt Lake. If you have a strong mechanical background, experience operating sheet metal fabrication equipment, and take pride in producing quality work, we want to hear from you!

Location: North Salt Lake, UT
Pay: $18.00–$25.00/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 5:00 AM–3:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Operate laser cutters and other sheet metal fabrication equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Set up machinery and produce precision sheet metal components.
• Troubleshoot equipment and production issues to keep operations running smoothly.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication, machining, or a related manufacturing role.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of fabrication equipment, machine setups, and production processes.
