Dishwasher / Baking Assistant

Job responsibilities as a Dishwasher and Baking Assistant are as follows:

·Have a strong working knowledge of our products, ingredients, & allergy options

·Paying extremely close attention to detail when reading order forms, production sheets, and recipes

·Washing, organizing, putting away all dishes

·Putting away, and properly labeling, freshly baked product from frm the cooling/speed rack each day

·Preparing and baking cakes, cupcakes and mini cupcakes

·Preparing and baking dessert bars

·Preparing and baking cookie dough

·Greasing cake pans to be baked in, knocking out pans that have cakes, and washing them

·Refilling ingredient bins (25-50lb)

·Helping with inventory by adding ingredients and supplies to our order board as they become low

·Using the Espresso machine (we use this for chocolate cake, and other chocolate recipes)

·Marking and cutting bars for orders and for retail sale

·Baking cookies for retail sale and order fulfillment each morning

·Assisting the baking team with prep work such as juicing/zesting lemons, grating carrots, chopping nuts, making compotes, etc.

·Keeping a clean work space

·Taking out the trash on closing shifts and other tasks to tidy up the space at the end of the day

·Communicate effectively with the entire team

·And other tasks as needed by the manager
