The AWS DevOps Engineer will join the central platform team and report to the Chief Technology Officer, supporting AWS-native services, on-premises modernization, multi-cloud environments, and hybrid cloud infrastructure. This role offers a path toward technical leadership and requires no travel.
Responsibilities
- Design and support cloud infrastructure across AWS, hybrid cloud, multi-cloud, and modernized on-premises environments.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable software delivery.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using infrastructure as code.
- Implement configuration management and container orchestration practices.
- Monitor systems and strengthen observability across infrastructure and applications.
- Respond to incidents and support disaster recovery efforts.
- Maintain security compliance and optimize system performance.
- Coordinate release management and contribute to technical leadership initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in AWS DevOps engineering.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional certification.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Terraform, and infrastructure as code.
- Experience developing and managing CI/CD solutions.
- Experience with Docker and containerized environments.
- Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting.
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability practices.
- Experience with incident response.
- Strong technical communication skills.
