Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Associate II to support a leading aerospace manufacturing company in Carson City, NV. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented logistics professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is looking for a long-term career opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify accuracy of documentation and materials for inbound and outbound shipments, including LTL and hazardous material shipments.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing materials to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Receive, count, and process incoming shipments while identifying shortages or discrepancies.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring all materials, documentation, and packaging requirements are met.
  • Pack, seal, label, and palletize materials for shipment using hand tools, power tools, and shipping equipment.
  • Generate and maintain shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, shipping labels, and work orders.
  • Record shipment data such as weight, freight charges, damages, and inventory discrepancies.
  • Operate ERP systems, transportation vendor systems, and customer shipment portals.
  • Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections, adjustments, and basic preventative maintenance.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in maintaining shipping and receiving supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with hazardous materials handling and shipping regulations.
  • Work cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Sales, Purchasing, and other departments to support customer satisfaction and workflow efficiency.
  • Identify process improvements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or material handling within a manufacturing environment.
  • Forklift operation experience required.
  • Experience handling shipping documentation, inventory transactions, and ERP systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to identify and resolve inventory and documentation discrepancies.
  • Knowledge of hazardous materials shipping requirements preferred.
  • Understanding of Safety Data Sheets (SDS), 6S practices, and Foreign Object Debris (FOD) awareness is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Aerospace or manufacturing industry experience preferred.
