Full-Time | Day Shift Opportunities | $17-$19 per Hour | Training Available
Express Employment Professionals is hiring Production & Warehouse Associates for multiple openings with established manufacturers and distribution companies in the Washington County area. These positions offer hands-on work in production, warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, inventory management, material handling, and equipment operation.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, operating equipment, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to a team-oriented workplace. Previous experience is helpful but not required for all positions, and training is available.
Pay & Schedule
- $17-$19 per hour
- Full-time opportunities
- Primarily Monday-Friday schedules
- Day shift openings available
- Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required
Key Responsibilities Production & Manufacturing
- Weigh, measure, and prepare materials according to specifications, recipes, formulas, or work instructions
- Operate production and processing equipment including mixers, kettles, pumps, and other manufacturing machinery
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality and efficiency standards are met
- Assemble products and components using hand and power tools
- Perform hose assembly including measuring, cutting, crimping, and inspecting finished products
- Complete production records, quality checks, and required documentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout production areas
Warehouse, Shipping & Receiving
- Receive, inspect, unload, and stock incoming shipments
- Pull, package, label, palletize, and prepare orders for shipment
- Coordinate shipping activities and prepare shipping documentation including packing lists and Bills of Lading
- Load and unload trucks safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
- Organize inventory and maintain accurate warehouse stock levels
- Participate in cycle counts and inventory control activities
- Track inventory and product movement using company software and ERP systems
Customer Service & Team Support
- Assist customers picking up orders in a professional and courteous manner
- Support production teams by delivering materials and supplies to workstations
- Work closely with team members to meet daily production and shipping goals
- Follow company safety, quality, sanitation, and operational procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience in manufacturing, food production, warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, inventory control, logistics, assembly, or material handling is a plus
- Forklift experience or certification preferred
- Ability to read work instructions, production documents, or shipping paperwork
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and remain active throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and heavier items with assistance
- Ability to work in manufacturing, warehouse, refrigerated, or changing environmental conditions
- Ability to wear required PPE and follow all safety procedures
- Steel-toed boots may be required depending on assignment
