Location: Sterling Heights, MI 48314
Employment Type: Full-Time
Starting Pay: $15.50 per hour
Pay Increase: $17.00 per hour after 90 days
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Overtime: Weekends and overtime may be required based on production needs.

Position Overview

We are seeking reliable and motivated Assembly Workers to join our automotive manufacturing team. In this role, you will assemble automotive bumpers by installing various components, including bolts, clips, screws, and wiring, using hand tools and power drills.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of following instructions while maintaining quality and productivity in a fast-paced production environment. Previous experience is helpful but not required.

Job Responsibilities

• Assemble automotive bumpers according to established specifications and work instructions.
• Install bolts, clips, screws, wiring, and other components as required.
• Safely operate hand tools, power drills, and other assembly equipment.
• Inspect completed assemblies to ensure proper installation and quality standards are met.
• Maintain production goals while following established work procedures.
• Identify and report defective materials, damaged components, or assembly issues.
• Keep the workstation clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Follow company safety guidelines and manufacturing procedures.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets.
• Perform other assembly and production duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power drills is beneficial; training may be provided.
• Good attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends when required by production demands.

Pay and Benefits

• Starting Pay: $15.50 per hour.
• Pay Increase: Increases to $17.00 per hour after 90 days of employment.
• Employment Type: Full-time, union position.
