Looking for a hands-on warehouse opportunity with a growing food distribution company? HireLevel is seeking dependable and hardworking Case Selectors for our client, Ole Tyme Produce, in St. Charles, MO!

In this role, you'll help keep fresh produce and food products moving by selecting customer orders, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining accurate inventory. We're looking for individuals who enjoy staying active, working as part of a team, and taking pride in getting orders right.

Job Title: Case Selector / Warehouse Order Selector
Job Type: Contract to Hire
Location: St. Charles, MO

Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM–2:00 AM
• 3rd Shift: 6:00 PM–3:00 AM

Pay: $19.00/hour

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and prepare customer orders using a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Meet productivity expectations of approximately 140–150 cases per hour during standard order picking
• Load outbound trucks and unload incoming shipments
• Receive, inspect, organize, and store fresh produce and other food products
• Rotate inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) procedures
• Operate electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment safely
• Inspect products for quality, proper temperatures, and handling requirements
• Maintain accurate inventory, receiving, and shipping records
• Keep coolers, freezers, and dry storage areas clean and organized
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
• Complete equipment inspections and report any safety or maintenance concerns
• Work efficiently with team members to meet daily production and shipping goals

Requirements

• Previous warehouse, distribution, or order selecting experience required
• Experience operating electric pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Ability to read, count, and perform basic math
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately fill customer orders
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment
• Ability to follow instructions and meet productivity expectations
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Willingness to work in refrigerated, freezer, and dry storage environments
• Previous experience in food distribution, produce handling, or cold storage preferred
• Knowledge of fresh produce quality standards and proper food handling practices is a plus
