Everybody at Leasewebis responsible forhigh customer satisfaction. We giveourcustomers royal treatment.Our team of Datacenter Operations Engineers is involved in the daily management of our 9 data center facilities throughout the US.
This includes the deployment and support of hardware and hosting services for our end users.
Youare responsible forthe configuration and installation of the servers during the provisioning process in our data center inManassas, Virginia, and other domestic data centers as needed. You alsoassistcustomers with the installation of servers and other equipment. The work environment is dynamic and has an international character.
As a Data Center Operations Engineer, you will work Monday to Friday standard hours, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30p.m. When on EOD 2:00 p.m.-1100 a.m. with an hour for lunch. You could havean optionfor an early shift which is 6:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. must be approved by a manager.

Engineer on Duty Allowance:
An Employee who is on the EOD schedule in any given month will be eligible for the following:
- $125.00 per month,with there beingno requirement for him/her to work as an EOD during thatmonth.
- EOD will be paid out on the last check date of eachmonth.

• Install, relocate, and remove server equipment
• Assist customers in data centers
• Upgrade/downgrade hardware
• Replace hardware and manage RMAs
• Test servers to standards
• Support provisioning in Manassas and other U.S. data centers

What You Bring:

• At least 2 years ofhands-onexperience working in a data center withservers.

• Knowledge of various operating systems, especially Linux

• Knowledge of Hardware (Servers, Switches, KVM, Hard Drives, Memory etc.)

• Basic network knowledge (adjusting DNS/IP/Netmask/gateway/etc.)
  Valid driver’slicense

• Certificate or degree in Computer Science or similar discipline preferably with an emphasis in Technology

• Strong Work Ethic

• Professional and effective communication

• Time Management

• Team Player

• Great attention to detail

• Ability to travel domestically and internationally to other data centers, as needed.
