The Shop Helper supports daily operations in a small workshop, reporting to the Shop Manager. This role assists with sandblasting, powder coating, material handling, tool organization, equipment support, order preparation, quality checks, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
Compensation:$18 hourly
Handle and organize materials throughout the workshop.
Maintain orderly tool storage and availability.
Clean and maintain the shop environment.
Assist with equipment operation and support.
Prepare orders accurately for fulfillment.
Perform basic quality checks on materials and orders.
Follow workplace safety procedures and requirements.
Preferred
Entry-level experience in shop operations.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Familiarity with hand tool operation and material handling.
Knowledge of workplace safety and equipment maintenance.
Understanding of quality inspection practices.
Teamwork and time management skills.
