We call the independent contractors who work with us Bees, and each regional community of partner schools is a Hive. As a Bee, you choose which assignments match your schedule and skill set, and you can update your availability weekly. Assignments can range from a single day to several weeks.
We've partnered with Norristown Area School Districtto provide staffing coverage for a number of roles across the district. We have an immediate need for someone to work as a School Support Associate at their Paul V Fly campus. School Support Associates provide targeted instructional and tutoring support; implement lessons, outdoor activities, and active guidance focused on reinforcing socio-emotional development; and utilize developmentally appropriate behavior management and de-escalation strategies - all under the direction of certified educators.

PLEASE NOTE: Costs associated with the clearance process are the sole responsibility of the candidate, as this engagement is for an independent contractor role rather than a traditional employment position. Requirements vary by state, but may include the cost of a background check, obtaining a copy of any college transcript you have, and the cost of completing Mandated Reporter training. The average cost of completing clearance in Pennsylvania for this role is $255.
