Schedule:Project-based, typically between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Express Employment Professionals – North Seattle is seeking dependable, hardworking General Laborers to assist with residential and commercial property restoration projects throughout the Seattle area. This position involves general labor, site cleanup, and light demolition work. The ideal candidate is reliable, comfortable with physical work, and able to follow instructions in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist restoration technicians with residential and commercial property damage cleanup.
- Perform general labor tasks, including debris removal, material handling, and jobsite cleanup.
- Assist with light demolition, including drywall removal and basic tear-out work.
- Safely operate basic hand tools and equipment as directed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow supervisor instructions and established safety procedures.
- Assist with additional restoration tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Required:
- Dependable, punctual, and able to report directly to various Seattle-area jobsites.
- Ability to perform physical labor in active construction and restoration environments.
- Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to accept short-term, project-based assignments.
- Ability to complete required background checks and drug screening.
Preferred:
- Previous general labor, construction, demolition, or restoration experience.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and light demolition work.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials, tools, and debris as required by the assignment.
- Comfortable performing physical tasks in residential and commercial restoration environments.
- Ability to work invaryingindoor and outdoor conditions.
Dress Code
Steel-toed boots are required. Company-provided work shirts and all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) will be supplied.
