Position Overview
We are seeking a
Residential Remodeling Technician with hands-on experience in residential construction and renovation.
The ideal candidate has experience across multiple construction trades, can complete assigned tasks independently, and works effectively within a team.
We don't expect candidates to be experts in every trade. We're looking for individuals with solid construction fundamentals, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to expand their skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform residential renovation and remodeling work.
- Install, finish, and repair drywall.
- Complete interior painting and surface preparation.
- Install flooring, baseboards, trim, and interior doors.
- Perform rough and finish carpentry.
- Assist with kitchen and bathroom remodeling.
- Participate in basement finishing projects.
- Assist with deck construction and exterior renovations.
- Follow construction plans, project specifications, and supervisor instructions.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environments.
- Ensure workmanship meets company quality standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades.
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum 3 years of residential construction or remodeling experience.
- Experience in at least two construction trades.
- Proficiency with common construction tools and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Reliable transportation to project locations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Dependable attendance and professional conduct.
Preferred:
- Drywall installation and finishing.
- Interior painting.
- Finish carpentry.
- Flooring installation.
- Framing experience.
- Kitchen, bathroom, or basement remodeling experience.
- Ability to read basic construction drawings.
