Lead Cook / Kitchen Lead – NO NIGHTS

Full-Time | $50,000-$60,000 Annually DOE
We're looking for an experienced Lead Cook / Kitchen Lead for a VERY busy, high-volume breakfast and lunch restaurant. Our menu is classic American breakfast and lunch with a Mexican flairfrom eggs, pancakes and chicken fried steak to breakfast burritos and chilaquiles.
What you'll actually be doing
- Leading a very busy breakfast and lunch line
- Cooking alongside the team
- Keeping food consistent through high-volume rushes
- Making sure prep is done and the kitchen is ready
- Training and supporting BOH employees
- Maintaining portions, presentation and recipe standards
- Monitoring inventory, food waste and ordering needs
- Keeping a clean, organized and food-safe kitchen
- Communicating with ownership and FOH
- Solving problems without turning every problem into an emergency
You might be a great fit if...
You have serious high-volume line experience, preferably breakfast.
Mexican or Mexican-inspired cooking experience is a big plus.

- Strong line-cook experience required
- High-volume breakfast experience strongly preferred
- Leadership experience preferred
- Mexican-inspired cooking experience is a plus
- Strong food-safety knowledge
- Dependable, punctual and able to lead a team
