Job Description
1801 Tavern is looking for a reliable and hardworking Food Runner to join our team during our busy weekend breakfast and lunch service.
We’re looking for someone who can work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant, communicate well with our servers and kitchen staff, and help ensure guests receive their meals quickly and accurately.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately.
- Check orders for accuracy and completeness before delivering them.
- Communicate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth food service.
- Assist with carrying plates, condiments, and other items needed for food delivery.
- Keep the food pickup and service areas clean and organized.
- Help with basic cleaning and restocking duties during slower periods.
- Assist the team with other food-service-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work both Saturday and Sunday.
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced restaurant.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required.
Schedule & Compensation
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Sunday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Hourly Pay: $15.00
- Approximately 12 hours per week
