General Description

We areseekinga highly skilledconsultanttojoin our team as a Project Delivery Lead. The Project Delivery Lead is the overall single resource accountable for thedevelopingthe scope& drivingtheoverallexecution ofthe entire automation and OT scope forlarge scaleprojects.The delivery lead will oversee the design and implementation of allfacetsof the digital / automation scope for large scale capital projects.This role may be engaged as early as theconceptdesign phase of projects and remain engaged throughout project execution.Scope areas mayincludeprocess automation systems (DCS & PLC), facility automation systems (building management systems (BMS), access control, energy monitoring systems, video surveillance systems, etc.), SIS systems,IT &OT technologies and systems, Instrumentation and Controls (I&C), production execution systems (MES & electroniclog books),process analytical technologies (PAT),andbenchtop /laboratoryanalytical systems. The Project Delivery Lead willbe supported bymultipletechnical leadsassociated witheach of thevarious scopeareas within automation.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team ofautomationengineers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion ofaspects of the digital / automation scope ofprojects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Support the development of project scheduleswith the correct milestones and definition ofkeypredecessors and successors across all disciplines
  • Drive the development ofresource plans and loading curves according to overall project and equipment FAT schedules
  • Drive the development ofscope estimates and budgets and track consumption and variances through execution in conjunction with project controls team
  • Advise customers on technologyselectionandproject execution strategyto align with the project critical success factors
  • Drive theresolution ofcomplex technical issuesacross disciplines,scopes,&vendors.
  • Act as an Owner's Agent to ensure project scope and deliverables from other vendor's meet the client requirements
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients,addressingtheirneedsandensuringtheir satisfaction with our services.
  • Participate in sales pursuits by developing estimatesandscopes of work in support ofproposaldevelopment.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements infacility automationtechnology and industry best practices.

Required Competencies

  • US Citizenshiprequired
  • Experience withvarious automation platforms (DCS, PLC, facility automation, etc.)
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiplescopessimultaneously.
  • Ability to communicateeffectivelywith team members and clients, both orally and in writing.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support project requirementsin North Carolina,South Carolinaand Virginia – approximately50%

Required Education & Experience

  • S. in CHE, EE, ME, Comp. Eng,Systems Eng., orother related disciplines.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in large scale capital projects, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Preferred Experience/Competencies

  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of applicable industry standards such as ISA and IEC.
  • Experience working inFDAregulatedindustries and experience with computer systems validation.
