Field Service Technician - CNC Machine Repair

An outstanding, full-time opportunity has become available in Western Pennsylvania for an experienced Field Service Technician – CNC Machine Repair with 5+ years of hands-on CNC service and repair experience. This position offers competitive compensation, overtime, and benefits, including medical, disability, and life insurance.

This position offers $35–$45/hour, plus overtime, and is responsible for providing hands-on CNC machine installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair at customer facilities throughout Western Pennsylvania. The role involves approximately 100% regional travel, primarily day trips with occasional overnight stays. Company-provided tools, phone, and laptop are included.

All candidates MUST have the following experience to qualify for consideration:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience servicing, troubleshooting, and repairingCNC machinery or comparable machine tools.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with CNC controls, motors, drives, PLCs, and related systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.
• Experience with FANUC, Mazak, Okamoto, or similar CNC machine tools and control systems is strongly PREFERRED.
• Experience with machine installation, commissioning, alignment, calibration, and preventive maintenance is a PLUS.
• Experience with industrial automation, robotics, pallet changers, and customer training is a PLUS.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout Western Pennsylvania, including occasional overnight travel.
• A valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record are required.
• An associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field is preferred; equivalent hands-on technical experience is acceptable.
