Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry to provide high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate should have strong clinical assessment skills, experience with cardiac monitoring, and the ability to care for patients with various medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Med-Surg/Telemetry patients.
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and patient conditions.
• Interpret and recognize abnormal cardiac rhythms and report changes promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and electronic health records.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Follow infection control and patient safety protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg/Telemetry nursing experience.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring and telemetry.
• Experience with medication administration and patient assessment.
• Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills.

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Required

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel nursing experience.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Strong time management and critical-thinking skills.
