We are seeking an Industrial Millwright to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment in a manufacturing facility. This hands-on role combines industrial maintenance, mechanical work, and electrical diagnostics to help keep production equipment operating safely and reliably.
Duties
- Inspect, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment; diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
- Perform electrical maintenance and troubleshooting on low- and high-voltage systems, using a voltmeter, ammeter, and ohmmeter as appropriate.
- Read schematics and electrical blueprints; work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems.
- Use precision measuring instruments and perform welding, including stick welding, to support equipment repair.
- Document work in a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), support field service and customer service needs, and operate a scissor lift when required.Your impact:Timely, careful maintenance helps production teams reduce equipment disruptions and work more safely.
Experience
- Industrial mechanic, millwright, industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or related industrial electrician experience is relevant.
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge and experience with equipment troubleshooting, electrical systems, electrical diagnostics, and engineering troubleshooting are important.
- Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatic systems, PLCs, schematics, electrical blueprint reading, and electrical troubleshooting is preferred.
- HVAC/HVAC/R, welding, stick welding, field service, technical sales, and customer service experience are useful additional qualifications.
- Strong analysis skills and English communication are required; electrical experience and familiarity with low- and high-voltage work are valued.
