Job Title: Business Developer, Commercial Landscaping

Location: Freeport, FL

Compensation: $70,000 - $75,000 / Annually + commission

About the Opportunity

Addison Group is partnering with a national leader in commercial landscaping services to hire a Business Developer for their Freeport branch. Our client cares for the outdoor spaces of HOAs, resorts, office parks, retail centers, and other commercial properties, and is looking for a driven sales professional to grow its client base across Walton, Okaloosa, and Bay counties.

The Role

As a Business Developer, you’ll own new business growth for the branch. You’ll identify and pursue commercial landscape maintenance and enhancement opportunities, build relationships with property managers and community association boards, and close contracts that fuel the branch’s growth. You’ll work closely with the Branch Manager and operations team to make sure every proposal is one the team can deliver on.

What You’ll Do

• Prospect and develop new commercial accounts through cold calling, networking, site visits, and industry events
• Build a strong pipeline across HOAs, property management firms, resorts, and commercial real estate along the 30A, Destin, and Panama City Beach corridor
• Walk properties with prospects, assess needs, and partner with operations to build accurate bids and proposals
• Present proposals and negotiate contracts with property managers, boards, and decision-makers
• Maintain accurate pipeline and activity tracking in the CRM
• Represent the company at local CAI, BOMA, IREM, and chamber events

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of B2B sales or business development experience, ideally selling services to commercial properties
• Experience in landscaping, facilities services, property management, or a related field strongly preferred
• Proven track record of hunting new business and hitting revenue goals
• Existing relationships with property managers or HOA boards on the Emerald Coast are a big plus
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Comfortable with CRM tools and Microsoft Office
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; travel within the local territory required
