Registered Nurse (RN)

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive nursing care on a medical-surgical unit, working within a team of registered nurses and reporting to the nurse manager. This role will primarily support night shifts while promoting safe, coordinated, and patient-centered care.

13 Week Contract with the option to extend

Shift: 6 pm - 630 am

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and monitor vital signs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications safely and accurately.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatments, and care plans.
• Coordinate care with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Apply infection prevention practices.
• Support discharge planning and respond effectively to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of professional nursing experience.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Active Registered Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with patient assessment, clinical documentation, medication administration, and care planning.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and infection control practices.
• Strong critical-thinking, patient-education, and interdisciplinary-collaboration skills.
