The Controls Engineer will report to the Controls Manager and support process automation, robotics, and motion systems projects. This role will develop and implement control solutions using platforms and technologies including Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Allen Bradley, servo systems, Fanuc, and ABB, with occasional travel for commissioning, service, or project support.
Responsibilities
- Program and develop PLC-based control systems using Rockwell Automation, Siemens, and Allen Bradley platforms.
- Develop and configure HMIs for industrial automation applications.
- Design control systems for process automation, robotics, and motion applications.
- Create and interpret electrical schematics.
- Configure and support servo and motion-control systems.
- Develop and support robot programming for Fanuc and ABB systems.
- Integrate automation and control-system components.
- Commission machines and provide occasional travel-based project support.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in controls engineering.
- Experience with PLC programming and HMI development.
- Experience with motion control and servo systems.
- Proficiency reading and developing electrical schematics.
- Experience with systems integration.
