Edwards Moving & Rigging is hiring Riggers for heavy lift, specialized rigging, and machinery moving projects throughout the United States. This position requires extensive travel and hands-on fieldwork.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with lifting, moving, and positioning heavy industrial equipment and machinery.
- Perform rigging operations using specialized tools and equipment.
- Assist with hydraulic gantry and jack and slide operations.
- Attach, secure, and prepare loads for lifting and transportation.
- Operate forklifts, skid steers, and other equipment.
- Inspect rigging equipment and tools for safe operation.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and hydraulic equipment.
- Follow established safety procedures and project requirements.
Qualifications
- 1–5 years of experience in heavy rigging, machinery moving, millwright work, or related fields.
- Experience with hydraulic gantry or jack and slide systems preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting 50 lbs.
- Must be willing to travel 175–200 days per year.
- Ability to work safely and effectively as part of a crew.
