Position Overview
We are seeking experienced and dependable MachineOperators to join a well-established packaging manufacturer in Hamilton, Ohio. This is a direct-hire opportunity with a stable organization that offers long-term career growth and advancement opportunities.
The ideal candidates will have previous manufacturing or machine operating experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to operate production equipment while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Successful candidates will be responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting coating equipment to ensure production goals and quality standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor coating machinery in accordance with established procedures and production requirements.
- Make equipment adjustments to maintain optimal machine performance and product quality.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues and communicate equipment concerns to maintenance or management.
- Perform routine quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications and customer requirements.
- Monitor production processes and make necessary adjustments to maintain efficiency.
- Load raw materials and ensure proper machine operation throughout the production process.
- Complete production reports, paperwork, and documentation accurately.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and assist with preventative maintenance activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred.
- Experience in coating, packaging, slitting, compounding, or similar manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, production specifications, and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
- Ability to work independently and contribute effectively as part of a team.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to work assigned schedules and overtime as production needs require.
