Positions Available:

• Per-Diem
• Part-Time
• Full-Time

Available Shifts:

Poughkeepsie: 3 pm to 11 pm and 11 pm to 7 am, all days. 7 am -3 pm Saturdays and Sundays

Wappinger Falls: 3 pm to 11 pm and 11 pm to 7 am, all days. 7 am -3 pm Saturdays and Sundays

Garrison: 3 pm to 11 pm and 11 pm to 7 am, all days. 7 am -3 pm Saturdays and Sundays

Patterson:3 pm to 11 pm and 11 pm to 7 am, all days. 7 am -3 pm Saturdays and Sundays

Carmel:3 pm to 11 pm and 11 pm to 7 am, all days. 7 am -3 pm Saturdays and Sundays

Brewster: 3 pm to 11 pm and 11 pm to 7 am, all days. 7 am -3 pm Saturdays and Sundays

Job Responsibilities

As a DSP, you will support individuals with developmental disabilities in leading safe, independent, and fulfilling lives.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, feeding, and personal care
• Providing emotional and behavioral support
• Assisting with community outings and activities
• Encouraging independence and life skill development
• Maintaining daily documentation and service notes
• Creating a safe, caring, and supportive environment

Requirements

• GED or High School Diploma required
• Minimum of 6 months experience working with the developmental disability population preferred
• Experience may include:
• • DSP work
  • Residential/group home experience
  • Day habilitation experience
  • Family caregiving experience
• Valid driver’s license may be required for many day and evening shifts
