Dental Assistant

Hi! We are a one doctor, general practice office in the heart of Basking Ridge. We are looking to add a PART TIME assistant to our team on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 9:00am-5:00pm. We focus on providing excellent patient care and creating a supportive work environment. The ideal candidate will possess a warm and friendly disposition and a passion for patient education and care. Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental team. We are looking for someone who is warm, friendly, and able to work as a member of a team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide efficient, quality dental care to patients while ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction during visits. This role requires a strong understanding of dental practices, and infection control protocols. The Dental Assistant will work closely with the dentist and other staff members to deliver exceptional patient care in a friendly and professional environment.

Duties

• Prepare patients for dental work
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
• Hand instruments to the dentist during procedures
• Keep patients' mouths dry by using suction hoses or other equipment
• Utilize dental imaging techniques to capture diagnostic images as needed if licensed
• Implement infection control measures to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
• Collaborate with the dental team to enhance the overall patient experience in the clinic.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
