What your day looks like
Picture yourself walking into our on-site Ripon, WI plant, greeting an 8–12 person production crew that looks to you for direction. You kick off a crisp pre-shift huddlesafety highlights, quality checkpoints, HR notes, and the day’s output targetsthen get everyone aligned on standard work and KPIs. Throughout the shift, you coach new hires, check PPE, track Hour-by-Hour Boards, conduct 5S Audits and Dupont Stop Observations, and keep work stacks moving. When a hiccup appears, you quickly escalate to the Group Leader and keep neighboring Team Leads in the loop so the next shift starts strong. You champion continuous improvement, capture ideas, and use SAP to keep materials and information flowing. You lead with a servant mindsetclear, calm, and people-first.

Available shifts
- 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM | Overtime (as needed): Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM (8 hours)
- 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM | Overtime (as needed): Friday, 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM (8 hours)
- 3rd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM | Overtime (as needed): Friday, 8:00 PM - 4:00 AM (8 hours)
- Weekend Days: Friday - Sunday, 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Overtime (as needed): Monday - Thursday, 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM (8 hours)
- Weekend Nights: Friday - Sunday, 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM | Overtime (as needed): Monday - Thursday, 5:00 PM - 1:00 AM (8 hours)
How you’ll lead
- Train and onboard new team members; be their go-to resource
- Run daily pre-shift meetings covering safety, quality, HR, and production goals
- Ensure safe work practices; confirm and obtain required PPE
- Foster and implement continuous improvement ideas with the team
- Escalate production or systemic issues to the Group Leader
- Maintain cross-shift communication with other Team Leads and Leaders
- Update KPIs and area metrics; keep visuals current
- Create, maintain, and audit Team Member Standard Work
- Complete Hour by Hour Boards, 5S Audits, Dupont Stop Observations, and manage work stacks
- Coach through conflict to resolution with support from Group and Area Leaders
- Use SAP to support manufacturing processes
- Pitch in with other tasks as needed
What you bring
- Experience leading others (work or volunteer)
- Understanding of manufacturing processes preferred
- Servant-leadership approach; people-first mindset
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Demonstrated leadership capability
- High school diploma or equivalent
Physical and role demands
- Ability to stand for extended periods; occasional sitting, manual dexterity, stooping, bending
- Passing a pre-employment physical including a baseline test of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds
