Step into a hands-on role where you’ll help transform raw material into high-accuracy parts. As a CNC Production Operator on our growing team, you’ll build practical skills, contribute to on-time delivery, and grow a long-term career in advanced manufacturing.
A day in the shop
You’ll start your shift reviewing work orders and prints, prepping materials, and bringing your machine online. From there, you’ll run production, verify first-article dimensions, make basic adjustments, and keep the cell clean, organized, and safe. Throughout the day, you’ll partner with teammates to resolve tooling questions and maintain quality.
What you’ll do
- Run CNC equipment to produce conforming parts to spec
- Load raw materials and unload finished components
- Perform basic setups, offsets, and routine adjustments
- Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, and other precision gauges
- Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and manufacturing drawings
- Monitor machine performance; identify tooling wear and quality issues
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
- Assist with additional tasks as assigned
What you bring
- High school diploma/GED or manufacturing technology training
- Previous machine operation experience preferred
- Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Comfort using calipers, micrometers, and related measuring tools
- Strong math aptitude and practical problem-solving
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team
Physical demands
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and material handling
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfort working in a production/manufacturing environment
