About the Role:
As a RN Unit Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our skilled nursing unit, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and compassion. Your responsibilities will include:
Leadership: Provide guidance and support to our interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, therapists, and consultants.
Clinical Operations: Manage patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring seamless transitions and timely services.
Quality Improvement: Collaborate with our quality improvement team to identify and implement best practices, improving patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Staff Development: Provide ongoing education and training to our nursing staff, promoting professional growth and development.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily unit operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement unit-specific goals and objectives.
• Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, and monitor patient progress.
• Manage and develop a high-performing team of healthcare professionals.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote a positive patient care environment.
