Manufacturing Process Engineer

2 Year Contract

Must-Haves

• Automotive engineering background
• Hands-on routing and clipping/retention experience
• AutoCAD capability, specifically 2D layouts, markups, and release-quality documentation
• Experience supporting builds and resolving fit/process issues in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work cross-functionally
• Ability to clearly document technical rationale

Preferred

• Strong knowledge of LV battery cables
• LV power distribution / powernet experience
• LV harness routing experience
• Fluid line routing experience
• 3D modeling experience
• NX preferred, but equivalent CAD tools are acceptable

What They’ll Be Doing

• Creating and maintaining 2D/3D routing layouts
• Developing routing paths for LV battery cables and powernet
• Defining/validating clipping, retention, and protection strategies
• Supporting routing for electrical harnesses and fluid lines
• Reviewing manufacturability, assembly sequence, ergonomics, tool access, and serviceability
