Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients during labor and delivery.
- Monitor maternal and fetal health throughout the labor process.
- Circulate and recover C-section patients.
- Provide postoperative care and monitor patients following C-section procedures.
- Float to the Postpartum Department as needed.
- Provide care to newborns during the recovery period (preferred).
- Monitor fetal heart rates and interpret fetal monitoring patterns.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation using EPIC.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Previous Labor & Delivery nursing experience.
- EPIC experience required.
- Fetal Monitoring Certification required.
- Ability to circulate and recover C-section patients.
- Ability to float to the Postpartum Department.
- Newborn care experience during recovery is preferred.
