Position Overview

PQ Talent is partnering with an established manufacturing company in the Logansport, Indiana area to identify an Electrical Engineer who will support manufacturing operations, improve production processes, and assist with technical challenges throughout the facility.

This position offers an opportunity to work closely with production teams, engineering personnel, and management to improve manufacturing efficiency, troubleshoot electrical and technical issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on engineer who enjoys working in a manufacturing environment and is comfortable balancing engineering responsibilities with day-to-day production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for daily manufacturing operations and production processes.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing-related issues to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
• Review, maintain, and update engineering drawings, technical documentation, and production specifications.
• Assist with the development and improvement of manufacturing processes, equipment, and procedures.
• Collaborate with production personnel to identify opportunities for improved quality, efficiency, and reliability.
• Support the introduction of new products, processes, and manufacturing improvements.
• Assist in identifying and resolving recurring production challenges.
• Work with internal teams to ensure manufacturing processes meet quality and performance expectations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing waste, improving productivity, and maintaining consistent product quality.
