Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR Circulator)

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR Circulator) to join our surgical services team. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care throughout surgical procedures, coordinate with the surgical team, and ensure patient safety during the perioperative process.

The OR team primarily handles orthopedic and general surgery, along with OB/GYN and robotic-assisted procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative assessments.
• Coordinate patient care throughout surgical procedures.
• Circulate during surgeries and anticipate the needs of the surgical team.
• Maintain a safe and sterile operating room environment.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation.
• Follow infection control and patient safety protocols.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• Current North Carolina RN license or Compact license with NC endorsement.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room Circulator experience.
• Experience must be within the past 2 years.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
