Overview
Senior Mechanical PMs in the Raleigh metro: this role puts you in charge of commercial HVAC, plumbing, piping and sheet metal projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of large commercial mechanical projects (HVAC, plumbing, piping, sheet metal), design-build and plan & spec
- Own project financials: budgets, forecasts, schedule of values, billing and margin
- Drive buyout, procurement and subcontract negotiations
- Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders and claims
- Mentor Project Managers, Assistant PMs and Project Engineers
- Build strong relationships with general contractors, owners and engineers
- Oversee MEP coordination using Bluebeam, AutoCAD and Revit MEP
- Champion jobsite safety and quality
Requirements
- 7+ years of commercial mechanical construction project management
- Experience at a mechanical subcontractor managing $5M+ projects
- Expert in Procore, Bluebeam and scheduling tools
- Proven skill with buyout, schedule of values, change orders and cost control
- OSHA 30 preferred; PMP a plus
- Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $130,000 - $180,000 per year (USD)
