About the Role

The team handles two kinds of work: responding to cybersecurity incidents and the investigations that follow, and advisory work such as tabletop exercises, security program building, and risk assessments. Clients are national and multinational companies.

What You'll Do

• Guide clients through incident response, from first alert to regulator inquiries
• Advise on privacy, cybersecurity, and compliance risk
• Work alongside forensic investigators and outside vendors
• Translate technical findings into practical business advice
• Help run tabletop exercises and security program reviews
• Manage several fast-moving matters at once

What We're Looking For

• 3–6 years of experience in privacy, cybersecurity, or a related practice
• Experience guiding clients through a cybersecurity incident
• A J.D. with a strong academic record
• Bar admission, or eligibility by waiver, in Ohio

Helpful Experience

• Knowledge of state breach notice laws, CCPA, GDPR, or GLBA
• Large-firm experience
• 3+ years of commercial litigation with a demonstrated interest in cybersecurity

Work Environment

This role is hybrid and based in Cincinnati. The pace is quick and client-facing, so you'll be comfortable when urgent matters land.

Compensation
