Product Design Engineer
$94,000 to $121,000 base salary. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision within your first month, a 401(k) with company contributions, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement. Build real machines and grow your career.
Hiring a Product Design Engineer for an established manufacturer of large industrial machines in the northeast Dallas area. The role is full-time. The first months are onsite. Hybrid work becomes available after that.
Day to day
• Turn customer needs into design sketches and layouts.
• Build 3D CAD models and release drawings.
• Write parts lists and order specifications for mechanical and electrical parts.
• Build prototypes and test them.
• Change the design of products that are already in production.
• Work with the build, test, purchasing, and support teams.
What gets you hired
• You have 2 or more years of experience in product design or development.
• You have 3D CAD experience.
• You have working knowledge of PLCs and CAN bus.
• You have experience with parts lists and design change control.
• A STEM degree is preferred but not required, such as mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Experience with heavy machines is a big plus.
• You work well alone and with others.
