About the Role:
Mid-Cities Manufacturing is looking for an experienced CNC Saw Operator / Local Delivery Driver to join our production team. This is a combined position with primary responsibilities operating CNC saw equipment and additional duties making local pickups and deliveries as needed.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Up to date drivers license with a clean record is mandatory!
CNC Saw Operation (Primary Role)
- Set up and operate Cosen Saw and Hyd-Mech Miter Saw equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
- Measure and verify material cuts for accuracy.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
- Maintain accurate material counts and production records.
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized.
- Assist with material handling and other shop duties as needed.
Local Pickup & Delivery (As Needed)
- Make local deliveries and pickups to customers and vendors using company vehicles.
- Safely load, secure, and unload materials and finished parts.
- Verify quantities and paperwork for pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain company vehicles in clean and safe operating condition.
- Assist with shipping and receiving when needed.
Requirements:
- Experience operating Cosen Saw and Hyd-Mech Miter Saw preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.
- Basic computer and tablet skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
- High school diploma or GED preferred; vocational or technical training a plus
