Location: Kansas City, MO, US (or surrounding areas) - client would be open to covering relocation expenses
Salary: $120K-$180K (salary depends on experience)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent - Civil to oversee and manage civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while coordinating with various stakeholders and leading a team of construction professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all aspects of civil construction projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project goals are met.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards on site.
- Oversee scheduling and budgeting for projects, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reports using tools like Procore and Bid2win.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including clients, to provide updates and address concerns.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in civil construction, especially in heavy civil projects.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Familiarity with project management software such as Procore and Bid2win.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.
