Fiber Route Inspector

Texan Priority Safety is seeking a Fiber Route Inspector to help ensure the accuracy, quality, and readiness of fiber network routes in Dallas, TX.

The Fiber Route Inspector is responsible for inspecting fiber routes and verifying that installed work meets required specifications, safety standards, and project expectations. This role combines field-based observation with clear documentation to support successful build-out, compliance, and handoff.

Working in a hybrid environment, you will collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to identify issues early, recommend corrective actions, and maintain strong quality throughout the inspection process.

• Conduct field inspections of fiber routes to verify alignment with plans, scope, and applicable standards.

• Document findings accurately, including measurements, observations, and any defects, discrepancies, or safety concerns.

• Identify route or installation issues and recommend practical solutions to improve quality and reduce rework.

• Review inspection results for completeness and ensure records are organized and easy to reference.

• Coordinate with project teams to support remediation activities and confirm corrective action completion.

• Ability to perform consistent field inspections and safely work around active construction or utility environments.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately record inspection findings.

• Clear communication skills for collaborating with team members and reporting results.

• Basic understanding of construction inspection concepts, quality expectations, and documentation standards.

• Reliable availability for full-time work in a hybrid schedule based in Dallas, TX.

• Prior experience in fiber network construction inspection, utility inspection, or related field quality roles.

• Familiarity with common inspection and documentation practices used in construction or telecom projects.

• Experience identifying nonconformities and supporting corrective action closeout.

• Comfort working with project plans, route layouts, and field measurement practices.

Hourly rate: $20 - $22
