Job Description

Position Summary:

  • The Manufacturing Process Engineering team performs hands-on problem solving in a collaborative and fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • We are subject matter experts for processes in cleanroom and non-cleanroom environments which focus on radiofrequency (RF) microelectronic component assembly.
  • This hands-on role confronts new projects and challenges every day and requires cross-functional collaboration in both cutting-edge automation and mature production processes.
  • The Engineer develops and implements materials and process improvements to our factory, while providing production support using a variety of analytical techniques, including statistical process control, predictive equipment maintenance, material analysis, and root cause analysis.
  • We perform the evaluation of materials, equipment, and processes (including qualification, acceptance testing, and specification development) and interface with key internal and external suppliers to resolve technical issues.
  • Seeking candidates who are hands-on, enjoy diving deep into technical requirements, proactive, accountable, good communicators, adaptable in a fast-paced environment, experienced in automated manufacturing, and ready to solve unique problems daily.

Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on experience with automated machines used within the RF microelectronics industry.
  • Experience identifying key process parameters and implementing process control.
  • Experience navigating technical requirements within military and industry standards and other engineering data packages (i.e., product drawings).
  • Experience in data analysis using statistical methods and software (i.e., Minitab) for process monitoring and control.
  • Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE), and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) experience.
  • Manufacturing experience with surface mount technology (SMT), microelectronics, and/or automated assembly equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Proven track record of project leadership.
  • Technical writing experience for operator instructions, process and/or material qualification reports, equipment vendor statements of work, etc.
  • Experience with technical problem-solving using data-driven methodologies.
