About the Role:
As an Activity Assistant, you will be responsible for designing and implementing stimulating activities for our residents, focusing on their physical, emotional, and social well-being. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized activity plans, ensuring that our residents' needs are met and exceeded. Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will be essential in building strong relationships with our residents, families, and care team.
Responsibilities:
Develop and lead activities, such as arts and crafts, exercise classes, and social events, tailored to our residents' interests and needs
Collaborate with the care team to identify and address residents' needs, preferences, and abilities
Document residents' participation, progress, and feedback to inform activity planning and improvement
Ensure a safe and engaging environment for all activities, adhering to infection control and safety protocols
Assist with resident assessments, care planning, and communication with families and healthcare teams
