Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and motivated Warehouse, Order Picking & Inventory Associate to join our growing operations team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to build a career in heavy-product supply chain, logistics, and warehouse management. You’ll start by learning the ropes and can grow into a role on the warehouse management team. Starting base pay can increase based on factors such as computer skills, inventory management abilities, reliable attendance, enthusiasm, initiative, and work ethic.

In this hands-on role, you must be able to handle heavy products and pick, pack, and strap items weighing 40 to 200 lbs (manually and using a forklift), organize the warehouse floor, and ensure that our digital inventory systems accurately match our physical stock. You will work closely with the warehouse team to optimize order processing, maintain storage layouts, and ensure data accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Order Picking & Packing: Accurately pick 6 to 12 orders per day (manually and/or using a forklift), then pack, strap, and label them for shipment.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, check, unpack, and store incoming shipments and manufactured products in designated locations, and keep all paperwork in order.
  • Quality & Safety Control: Promptly report damaged items, missing tags, or inventory mismatches to the warehouse manager.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Perform ongoing physical counts, cycle counts, and stock-taking initiatives while keeping workstations and storage areas clean and organized.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous warehouse experience, logistics certifications, or relevant coursework are a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Computer literate with basic-to-intermediate proficiency in spreadsheets, plus a willingness to learn our warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong time-management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Forklift Skills: Valid forklift certification with proven operating experience and a clean safety record.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and handle items weighing 40 to 200 lbs (manually and using a forklift), and to move up to 500 lbs using a forklift.
  • Safety Requirement: Steel-toe boots are required because we handle large, heavy industrial items.
