Partner- Transportation

TRC Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Partner Aerospace, Rail & Maritime to lead and expand a strategic industry practice across North America. This executive-level consulting leadership role offers the opportunity to build a market presence, drive revenue growth, develop client relationships, and establish a premier consulting franchise focused on transportation operators and MRO organizations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong track record of business development, client leadership, and consulting delivery within aerospace, rail, maritime, airline, cruise, or maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) environments.

Summary

The Partner will be responsible for developing and scaling the Aerospace, Rail, Maritime, and MRO consulting practice throughout North America. This individual will drive business development efforts, cultivate executive-level client relationships, lead strategic pursuits, and collaborate with global industry experts to deliver transformative solutions. Success in this role requires a combination of industry expertise, consulting leadership, entrepreneurial drive, and the ability to build and inspire high-performing teams.

Responsibilities
Build and scale the Aerospace, Rail, Maritime, and MRO operator consulting practice across North America.
Own practice growth, sales pipeline development, and strategic client portfolio management.
Establish and strengthen relationships with C-suite executives at airlines, cruise lines, rail operators, MRO providers, and related ecosystem organizations.
Lead complex business pursuits from opportunity identification through proposal development, negotiation, and contract close.
Represent the firm through thought leadership initiatives, keynote presentations, and participation in industry forums and conferences.
Collaborate with global consulting teams across Europe, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific to bring integrated solutions to North American clients.
Recruit, develop, mentor, and retain consulting talent while fostering a high-performance team culture.
Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership teams on strategy, operations, transformation, and performance improvement initiatives.
Drive measurable client outcomes through hands-on engagement and implementation support.
Qualifications
Experience with a top-tier strategy or management consulting firm at the Associate Partner, Principal, Partner, or equivalent leadership level.
Demonstrated success originating new business and developing client relationships independently.
Deep understanding of transportation operator industries, including airlines, rail operators, cruise lines, maritime organizations, and MRO businesses.
Proven record of leading consulting engagements and practice growth initiatives.
Experience in strategy, operations, organizational transformation, R&D, or operational excellence programs.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop and execute growth strategies.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a high-growth, evolving environment.
Minimum of 8 years of combined experience in consulting and transportation-related organizations.
Strong implementation focus with a commitment to delivering sustainable client results.
Experience mentoring, coaching, and developing consulting professionals.
Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout North America.
Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
