Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology, Counseling, or a closely related field
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist or Counselor
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred, but motivated new graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents, staff, and administration
- Demonstrated ability to conduct assessments, interpret results, and develop intervention strategies
- Commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct counseling and psychological services to students, addressing social, emotional, and academic concerns
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral, emotional, and academic assessments
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive, inclusive school environments
- Offer crisis intervention and consultation services to staff and students in need
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines
