Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Medical Practice Manager to oversee the overall operations of a Cardiology practice. This leadership position is responsible for financial management, human resources, clinical and administrative operations, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and patient satisfaction.
-> Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily clinical and administrative operations of the medical practice.
- Develop, manage, and monitor departmental budgets and financial performance.
- Oversee billing, collections, revenue cycle management, and accounts receivable.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, retention, performance evaluations, and staffing strategies.
- Lead and support clinical and nonclinical staff to ensure efficient practice operations.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and operational improvements.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, employment laws, and organizational standards.
- Monitor quality management, patient care systems, and patient satisfaction.
- Improve patient flow, scheduling processes, referral management, and physician productivity.
- Collaborate with physicians and organizational leadership to implement strategic goals.
- Oversee medical records, information management, and patient data security.
- Manage front office operations and ensure excellent customer service.
- Monitor pharmaceutical and medical supply inventory.
- Promote effective communication, teamwork, and a positive workplace culture.
-> Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in a related field.
- Bachelor's degree highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant healthcare management or administrative experience.
- Active New Hampshire Registered Nurse (RN) license – Required.
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Knowledge of medical practice operations, billing, collections, scheduling, and staff management.
- Strong understanding of healthcare policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, delegation, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively with physicians, clinical staff, administrative teams, and patients.
-> Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Medical Practice Manager experience.
- Experience managing a Cardiology practice or specialty medical clinic.
- Experience with financial planning, budgeting, revenue cycle management, and operational improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related field.
