We're looking for an energetic, dependable, and customer focused team member to join us! While this position includes preparing and serving beverages, it's about much more than bartending. Our team members help keep the entire facility running smoothly, from providing great customer service and maintaining clean courts to assisting players and pitching in wherever needed.

SLAM is a family owned and operated business, and that means something to us. Our owners aren't sitting behind the scenes giving directions. They're right there alongside the team, working the floor, helping customers, cleaning, and doing whatever needs to be done. As a Bar & Facility Operations Associate, you'll wear a few different hats throughout your shift. No two days are necessarily the same, and everyone pitches in to make sure our members and guests have a great experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Bar Operations: Prepare and serve beverages, operate the POS system, restock inventory, and maintain a clean and organized bar area.
• Customer Service: Welcome members and guests, answer questions, assist with reservations, and help create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
• Court & Player Assistance: Help players with basic court questions, assist members when needed, and occasionally jump in to play pickleball if a game needs an extra player or a little help getting started.
• Facility Maintenance: Help keep the entire facility clean and presentable, including courts, common areas, restrooms, seating areas, and outdoor spaces.
• Daily Operations: Assist with opening and closing duties, restocking supplies, setting up for events, and handling general tasks that keep the facility running smoothly.
• Teamwork: Be willing to jump in wherever help is needed. We operate as a team, and no task is beneath anyone, including the owners!
• Problem Solving: Address customer questions or concerns professionally and bring issues to management when necessary.

Flexibility is important. This position requires availability for nights, weekends, and some holidays.

We're looking for someone who brings a positive attitude, takes initiative, and understands that being part of a great team means being willing to help wherever needed.

What we're looking for:

• Someone who enjoys staying active and isn't afraid of hands-on work.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand, bend, walk, and move around for extended periods.
• Physically capable of playing pickleball when needed.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle customer concerns professionally.
• Dependability, flexibility, and a willingness to learn.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.

No prior bartending or pickleball experience is required! We can teach you the drinks, the systems, and the game. What matters most is your attitude, work ethic, and willingness to be part of the team.
