We’re hiring a Technician 1 to support a fast-paced fragrance lab environment. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on lab experienceespecially fragrance lab / compounding / samplingwho enjoys staying organized and working as part of a team.
- Location: Piscataway, NJ (Onsite)
- Schedule: 1st shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Pay:$25.00/hour
- Employment Type: full-time (40 hours/week)

What You’ll Do
- Sampling / Compounding
- Prepare and compound fragrance oils based on priorities and delivery timelines
- Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Use available digital tools/software to support lab work
- Manual Pour Production
- Meet daily production targets for manual pours (per lab guidelines)
- Optimize what should be poured manually vs. automated (when applicable)
- Stock & Workbench Management
- Keep your workbench clean, organized, and efficient
- Maintain a fresh, accurate personal raw material collection (remove expired materials)
- Keep physical inventory aligned with digital systems
- Organize fragrance oil libraries aligned to perfumers/oil library standards
- Quality, Safety, and Compliance (QHSS&E)
- Follow all safety and environmental procedures
- Help maintain a clean, well-organized lab workspace
- Confirm samples meet quality standards before release
- Report non-conformances to the supervisor/manager
- Continuous Improvement
- Participate in LEAN / continuous improvement projects
- Support teammates during high workload periods
Qualifications:
- Required: High School Diploma / GED
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry (not required)
- Fragrance lab experience
- Comfortable working onsite and following strict lab safety/SOP requirements
